さて、すでに業界ニュース等で報じられております米国の一部トラック業者団体によるゼネスト情報につきまして弊社ロスアンゼルス現地法人より入手しました情報を下記の通りご報告致します。
ロスアンゼルスでは、5月１日よりストライキが５日間に渡る可能性も出ており、実行された場合にはコンテナ・
貨物の引渡しに少なからずとも影響が出る可能性がございます。

１９日付けトラッカーストライキに関するＪＯＣ記事を下記に添付します。
内容としましては、独立系トラック業者の団体 (Los Angeles Troquero Collective)が、５月１日に
港及び鉄道ヤードでストライキを予定しています。
今回のストライキは、この団体所属のロスアンゼルス、オークランド、フェニックス（アリゾナ州）、
ラスベガス（ネバダ州）のドライバーが参加する予定ですが、団体の広報担当者は、ロスアンゼルス
においては、５日間に渡る可能性がある旨メールの中で言及しています。
尚、ストライキの主な目的は、この団体のトラックドライバーは、主にヒスパニック系となり、米国
議会で現在審議中の移民法強化に対する抗議と移民者に対する恩赦、労働組合の設立権及び賃金の25％
アップを要求するものとなっております。

LONG BEACH -- A group of independent truckers is calling for a general strike May 1
at seaports and rail yards to draw attention to the low wages earned by drivers in
intermodal transportation.
The Los Angeles Troquero Collective, based in Southern California, stated that it
anticipates that drivers in Phoenix, Las Vegas and other transportation hubs will
strike in solidarity.
The Los Angeles strike "may go five days," the group's spokesman, Ernesto Nevarez,
said in an e-mail.
The proposed job action by the mostly Latino group follows student and community
demonstrations last month in Southern California to protest immigration reform
legislation before Congress.
In a flyer distributed at the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, the group is
calling for amnesty for all immigrants, the right to form labor unions and an
immediate salary increase of 25 percent for drivers
